A hint of Fall

I recently had a visit from my two grandson's, and oh ya, their mommy and daddy to! They were here in early September and happened to get a few great shots of the leaves starting to show that Fall is setting it's way in!

This first photo is a shot taken from the lake here at the campground looking up towards the RV sites.

The second photo is of our 5 ducks making their way to land with the Survivor Island in the background. The weather has been beautiful the past month, getting to the upper 70's during the day and the upper 50's in the evening.

It's been slowly cooling off since then. Take a look at these photos of the campground.

We are gearing up for our 2nd annual Halloween Party on October 30th. We will be offering Hay Rides, Campfire fun with ghost stories, and roasted marshmallows. We will also be having a Pot Luck Dinner, and Haunted Party in the Pavilion.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year to all my Camping Friends and Fans. May God Bless you and your family throughout the new year and beyond.

Can you believe it, the phones have been ringing and we are already taking reservations for 2010 season. I'm getting nervous, I always start too many projects in the winter and I'm afraid I won't be ready come spring!

The last two days Milton and I have laid tile in the new cabin, both the bathroom and kitchen floors. Hopefully tomorrow we will grout them. We have also installed the cedar trim along the ceiling and center beam. That was a little shaky on a 20' ladder.....oooooooo..... glad it's done.

That's all for now...
Think happy warm thoughts, campfires and Smores.........yum yum.
and remember... Go Camping AMERICA
